Green Wedding Photographer

I try to take certain steps to reduce my environmental impact in my personal life and also as a wedding photographer. I began by switching over from film to digital media which is more ‘animal friendly’. (Traditional celluloid is unfortunately made of gelatin derived from animals) In addition, I try to cut down on printed promotional materials and focus mainly on electronic means of marketing. Also my most popular wedding packages include delivery on digital media only, hoping that images will be viewed as slideshows on personal computers or DVD players (alternatively printed on eco friendly papers, which I hope to offer in near future). However, there are certain aspects which are hard to overcome if I want to survive in this business, for instance driving a car or using a computer.
