As the newlyweds leave the service ceremony it is traditional that family and guests throw confetti at the blessed couple. Confetti may come in all shapes and sizes, you would be surprised at what you can buy these days. Basic coloured paper horseshoe, bell shapes, rice, or dried rose petals are commonly used in today. All of these symbols of good luck. Sometimes you can order confetti with the pictures of the young couple printed on it. If you decide to use confetti please check with your church or venue whether they are ok with that, as some may worry about cleaning it up afterwards. They are more likely to say yes to biodagradable materials.
