Last minute checks in front of the mirror in the bridal suite. I like this picture for many reasons: the reflections, the lack of movement, the depth of field, the emotional state of the bride, the drying fingernails – they all speak to me. I chose to make this photo black & white to give it a documentary feel. In addition to minor exposure corrections in few spots, the contrast levels, sharpness, and black were increased slightly in Lightroom.
